New Office in Warsaw: Consulting Company Capcora Expands in Poland - Bartlomiej Hofman New Director

Frankfurt am Main, Germany - Independent consultancy Capcora is opening a new office in Poland to increase its presence in one of the largest renewable energy markets in Europe.

The company further announced that the new Warsaw office will be headed by Bartlomiej Hofman, a former banker.

Over the past five years, renewable energy-focused Capcora has expanded operations in Poland and other Central and Eastern European markets on an interim basis from German offices. As a result, Capcora has successfully closed more than 15 transactions in Poland, raising more than €400 million for more than 1 GW of projects, including debt and M&A transactions. According to Capcora, some of these transactions were groundbreaking for the industry, such as the Zwartowo project developed by Goldbeck Solar, which is currently the largest PV solar project with 290 MWp.

Bartlomiej Hofman will head Capcora's new Polish office after joining the company from PKO BP, the largest commercial bank in Poland. During his five-year tenure at PKO BP, he led the Structured Finance team, overseeing renewable energy and infrastructure activities. Prior to that, he spent 20 years in the project finance teams of mBank, Alior Bank and Kredyt Bank.
