Qualitas Focuses on Repowering: Qualitas Energy Secures Contracts for 43 MW of Onshore Wind Power

Berlin (Germany) - In the most recent tender round by the German Federal Network Agency in August, Qualitas Energy secured contracts for two repowering projects in Germany. The total capacity of the two wind farms exceeds 43 MW.

The first project is located in Sassenberg-Gröblingen in the Warendorf district of North Rhine-Westphalia, where four wind turbines with a capacity of 5.56 MW each will be installed. The second project is in Ingstetten, in the Alb-Donau district of Baden-Württemberg, where three turbines with a capacity of 7.2 MW each will be constructed. The Ingstetten project is part of a larger development with a total of six wind turbines, which will be submitted in the next tender round.

"The successful tender awards for our repowering projects underscore our team’s implementation strength and our commitment to the energy transition. Using state-of-the-art technology, we are increasing the efficiency and contribution of our wind farms to renewable power generation," said Johannes Overbeck, Co-CEO of Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH.

Qualitas Energy is currently developing over 100 wind farms as part of its 4 GW pipeline, which is in an advanced stage of development. The company continues to expand its portfolio through strategic acquisitions and targeted investments.
