Enercon and Vestas Wind Turbines: Tion Renewables Expands German Wind Portfolio by 30 MW
Munich (Germany) - Tion Renewables GmbH has acquired a 30 MW operational onshore wind portfolio in Germany from Alterric Deutschland GmbH.
The turbines, commissioned between 2023 and 2024, benefit from a 20-year EEG tariff and are expected to produce around 60 million kWh of green electricity annually.
“We are delighted that we were able to successfully complete this complex transaction through our professional collaboration with Alterric. This brings us a significant step closer to our growth target of three gigawatts by 2030 and has enabled us to lay the foundation for a long - term partnership with Alterric,” said Martin Lemmer, Investment Director Germany at Tion Renewables.
With these new wind farms, Tion strategically expands its German wind portfolio. The Enercon and Vestas wind turbines complement Tion’s existing wind assets. Greencap Partners Ltd. acted as M&A advisor to Alterric.
Tion Renewables, headquartered in Munich, is an independent power producer (IPP) focused on renewable energy generation. Supported by the EQT Group, the company invests in photovoltaic, onshore wind, and battery storage projects across selected European markets, with the goal of generating stable cash flows and predictable returns.
