Stock Markets, Week 36/26: RENIXX Weaker – Bloom Energy Posts Double-Digit Gain, JinkoSolar Double-Digit Loss, Nordex Jumps 10 Percent Today on BofA Recommendation

Muenster, Germany – The RENIXX World traded weaker over the reporting week, falling to a weekly low of 1,192.74 points by Wednesday, September 2, 2026, before recovering slightly toward the end of the week.

Market attention centered on rising oil and gas prices following US military strikes near the Strait of Hormuz. The yield on two-year US Treasury notes subsequently climbed to 4.34 percent. Market observers are concerned about a return of the kind of fossil-fuel price shock seen in 2022, with implications for inflation and interest rates.

Bloom Energy Posts Double-Digit Gain as JinkoSolar Slides Double Digits

The RENIXX World closed at 1,223.12 points on Friday, September 4, 2026, down 1.7 percent, or 21.09 points, from the previous week's close of 1,244.21 points (August 28, 2026). The biggest gainers were Bloom Energy (fuel cells, +19.6 percent) following an analyst upgrade, Solaredge (+8.1 percent), Green Plains (+4.3 percent), Ballard Power (+3.6 percent) and Scatec (+3.2 percent). On the losing side, JinkoSolar (−11.5 percent) led declines following an analyst downgrade, followed by Daqo (−10.2 percent), CATL (−6.8 percent), Grenergy (−5.6 percent) and Xpeng (−5.1 percent). Year-to-date, the RENIXX remains in positive territory, up 8.2 percent, or 92.75 points, from 1,130.37 points on December 30, 2025, though it still trades around 21.1 percent below its 52-week high of 1,550.58 points reached on June 3, 2026.

Company News, Week 36

Ørsted is bringing a 920 MW offshore wind farm complex off the coast of Taiwan into the home stretch. The wind farms are being developed at a time when Taiwan is significantly raising its offshore wind target: according to an expansion plan presented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in July 2026, the country aims for installed capacity of 24.7 to 27.9 gigawatts by 2039, up from around 4.9 gigawatts currently. The wind farm cluster off Changhua is one of the largest building blocks in this development to date.

Ørsted shares, listed on the RENIXX World, closed at EUR 18.34 on September 4, 2026, up 13.6 percent from EUR 16.14 a week earlier (August 28, 2026).

Technical Picture: Downward Pressure Persists

Since its 52-week high of 1,550.58 points (June 3, 2026), the RENIXX has lost around 21 percent. The recovery attempt that had been underway since late July was decisively derailed this week: the index fell back below the 200-day moving average (around 1,273 points), the MA50 (around 1,271 points) and the MA20 (around 1,248 points), with all three levels now acting as resistance.

As long as the RENIXX remains below the MA20 at around 1,248 points, the recovery attempt remains impaired; a sustained close above that level would be needed, and in the medium term the breakout zone around the 200-day line at around 1,273 points would need to be reclaimed. On the downside, a possible double bottom is taking shape: the weekly low of 1,192.74 points (September 2, 2026) sits only slightly below the low of July 28, 2026 (1,198.21 points); confirmation of the pattern would require a sustained breakout above the intervening neckline at around 1,257 points. The RSI(14) of 29.74 (as of September 4, 2026) is approaching oversold territory – the downtrend since the June high remains intact.

RENIXX Opens the Week – Nordex Shares Jump

In today's trading (September 7, 2026) at the start of the new trading week, the RENIXX is gaining ground. The biggest gains are being posted by Nordex, up around 10 percent following an analyst recommendation, ahead of Bloom Energy, Cadeler, Vestas and Scatec. Canadian Solar, Array Technologies, Enphase Energy, Daqo and BYD are posting losses.
