Windpunx Expands Operations Management Portfolio by 287 MW to 2.85 GW: Windpunx at WindEnergy Hamburg

Berlin – Windpunx, the Berlin-based wind energy operations manager, has expanded its managed portfolio by 287 MW since the beginning of the year. The company is now responsible for the technical operations management of more than 1,200 wind turbines with a combined installed capacity of 2.85 GW. According to the company, a further 161 MW has already been contractually secured.

Windpunx is growing both in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. Close to 200 customers use the company's technical and commercial operations management services, with some contracts running for up to 15 years. At the same time, Windpunx is expanding its AI-supported operations management and data-based services. Together with start-ups and technology partners, the company is developing and testing applications for reporting, analysis and portfolio management, aimed at enabling earlier detection of technical anomalies and better use of optimization potential in plant operations.

"We announced at the beginning of the year that we would consistently align our structures for growth. Today, this growth is becoming tangible – both in our portfolio and in new, long-term partnerships," said Heinz-Georg Strickmann, Managing Director of Windpunx, Solarpunx and Aurevo Energy.

Windpunx is part of the Saxovent Renewables group. At WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, the group will present itself together with Windpunx, Solarpunx, Saxovent Renewables and Aurevo Energy in Hall A1, Booth 430. Within the group, the companies cover areas ranging from project development and implementation to portfolio and asset management and technical and commercial operations management of wind and photovoltaic plants.
