Vestas Secures Three New Wind Farm Orders in Europe: Vestas to Supply 119 Megawatts of Wind Turbines for Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland

Aarhus – Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas announced three new onshore wind farm orders in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland this week. Customers include a Dutch wind farm operator, an undisclosed customer in Belgium, and a Polish subsidiary of energy group Orlen.

In addition to turbine supply, all three projects are combined with long-term service agreements with Vestas that will secure the ongoing operation of the plants.

In the Netherlands, wind farm operator Agro-Wind Reusel B.V. ordered nine V163-4.5 MW turbines for the "Agro Wind Reusel" project with a total capacity of 41 megawatts, combined with a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter of 2027.

In Belgium, the order comprises eight turbines – three V136-4.2 MW units and five V150-6.0 MW units – totaling 43 megawatts, along with a 20-year service agreement. Delivery and commissioning are scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2027, respectively.

In Poland, Vestas will supply nine V136-4.0 MW turbines with a total capacity of 36 megawatts to KWE Sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of Orlen New Power, for the "Kazimierz Biskupi" project, also with a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning planned for the first quarter of 2028.

Vestas shares, listed on the renewable energy stock index RENIXX World, closed last week's trading at EUR 27.62 (closing price September 18, 2026, Stuttgart Stock Exchange), down 4.2 percent. Compared with the closing price of EUR 22.59 on December 30, 2025, the Vestas share is up 22 percent year-to-date.
