Solar Power Feed-In Already Started: Tion Renewables Buys Turnkey 26 MW Solar Park in Eastern Germany
Munich, Germany - Munich-based green energy producer Tion Renewables has acquired its 15th solar park in Germany.
Tion benefits from a combined power purchase agreement for the project: in addition to the feed-in tariff over a period of 20 years, a PPA with a term of ten years from 2024 was concluded. The electricity price of the contractually secured electricity marketing from the PPA is higher than the feed-in tariff until 2034.
„Our latest acquisition exemplifies that we do not grow at all costs. Instead, we decide for the smartest offtake solutions possible“, says Christoph Strasser, Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Tion Renewables about the project.
The green energy producer Tion Renewables specialises in the construction and operation of onshore wind and onshore solar parks as well as battery storage systems in Europe. The company is active in five European countries. Following its IPO in 2019, Tion was delisted from the stock exchange in 2024 by the investment organisation EQT Group. Tion is a major shareholder of independent power producer Clearvise AG and benefits from EQT's extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, access to a network of more than 600 industry consultants and in-house expertise in the areas of marketing, sustainability and digitalisation.
