Capcora Strengthens Presence in the Nordic Countries: Senior Advisor Øystein Kvarme on Board

Frankfurt am Main, Germany – The consulting firm Capcora, specializing in M&A and project finance services, is expanding its activities in the Nordic markets. Going forward, Øystein Kvarme will support the M&A and debt advisory businesses as Senior Advisor from the Oslo office.

With more than 15 years of experience in renewable energy, Kvarme brings extensive expertise in photovoltaics, onshore wind, battery storage, as well as innovative technologies such as carbon capture and hydrogen.

He has accompanied transactions across Europe with industry leaders like Statkraft, Encavis, and HitecVision and has operated at the interface between capital and infrastructure. At Capcora, he will particularly drive tailor-made financing solutions for projects in the Nordic countries – on both the buyer and seller sides.

“We are very pleased to welcome Øystein to the Capcora team. His proven track record and deep understanding of the Nordic energy market will significantly strengthen our regional presence and provide real added value to our clients in the energy transition,” said Alexander Enrique Kuhn and Jochen Magerfleisch, Managing Partners at Capcora.

“Capcora has earned a strong reputation in the European renewable energy market – through deep financial expertise and pragmatic transaction execution. I look forward to contributing to the company’s Nordic expansion and helping clients effectively connect capital and projects,” added Kvarme.

Capcora, with over 35 transactions annually, is among the most active advisors in the European renewable energy market. Capcora has already been active in the Nordic countries: Recently, the firm advised the shareholders of the Norwegian sustainable aviation fuel developer Norsk e-Fuel on securing Prime Capital from Germany as a strategic investor. In 2022, Capcora supported turbine manufacturer Enercon in raising a bridge financing of EUR 118 million from DNB Bank ASA for a 134.4 MW onshore wind project in Sweden.
