PNE on Growth Path: PNE Secures Permits for Three New Wind Farms
Cuxhaven, Germany – In the second quarter of 2025, the Cuxhaven-based PNE Group received the green light for three new onshore wind projects in Germany. The permits cover sites in Brandenburg, Hesse, and North Rhine-Westphalia, with a total planned capacity of 46 megawatts (MW).
According to PNE, the expected electricity production from the new wind farms could theoretically supply around 36,000 three-person households annually – a significant contribution to the regional energy transition and a strong commitment to sustainable power generation.
„The permits granted are an important milestone for our continued growth,“ emphasized Roland Stanze, COO of PNE AG. They demonstrate the successful progress of project development and the company’s extensive experience in managing complex approval processes.
PNE is pursuing a growth strategy that combines operating its own wind and solar farms with the option to sell projects. By the end of 2027, the company plans to expand its own operations portfolio to 1,100 MW (1.1 GW), while its project pipeline is expected to reach a volume of 10,000 to 15,000 MW (10 to 15 GW). In addition to wind and solar, PNE is focusing on future-oriented technologies such as power-to-X and energy storage solutions.
