TEUT Energieprojekte Places Tenth Order with Nordex for Wind Farm in the Uckermark – Brandenburg Leads Eastern German States with Nearly 10 GW
Hamburg – The Nordex Group and project developer TEUT Energieprojekte are further expanding their long-standing partnership on wind power expansion in Brandenburg. With a new order for a wind farm in the Uckermark, TEUT extends its order history with the Hamburg-based turbine manufacturer while also committing to its service offering over the long term.
Schönermark-Passow Wind Farm: 13 Turbines with 164-Meter Hub Height
Under the new order, Nordex will supply and install 13 N163/6.X wind turbines for TEUT Energieprojekte at the Schönermark-Passow wind farm near Schwedt/Oder in the Uckermark district. The turbines will have a hub height of 164 meters and a combined capacity of 91 MW. TEUT, the client, is a Berlin-based developer of wind and solar projects that, as part of the TEUT corporate group, has been active primarily in Brandenburg for years. Delivery and installation of the turbines are scheduled to begin in September 2027, with the first turbine expected to be connected to the grid in January 2028. The order also includes a Premium Service contract with a 20-year term. The project is being realized together with Austrian energy utility Salzburg AG.
Tenth Project with Nordex: TEUT Combines 252 MW from 39 Turbines
In 2025, TEUT had ordered eleven Nordex turbines with a combined capacity of 65.7 MW for the Mürow-Neukünkendorf and Willmersdorf-Tempelfelde wind farms. Commissioning of the two projects is scheduled for spring and summer 2027, respectively. According to TEUT, Schönermark-Passow is already the tenth joint project with Nordex. "We have purchased a total of 39 turbines with an installed capacity of 252 MW," said Jan Teut, Managing Director of TEUT Energieprojekte. According to Teut, the professional collaboration on contract negotiations, construction, and operation gives the company confidence to plan further projects with Nordex turbines in the future.
"We are delighted by the renewed trust our long-standing customer has placed in our N163/6.X technology and in our long-term service expertise," said Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Europe of the Nordex Group, who sees the project as another building block in the expansion of wind power in Brandenburg.
Brandenburg: Net Additions Decline as Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Overtakes
According to data from the Marktstammdatenregister, installed wind power capacity in Brandenburg rose by a net 130.6 MW between January and August 2026. Compared with the same period last year (January–August 2025: 268.7 MW), this marks a significant decline of 51.4 percent. Among the eastern German states, Brandenburg has slipped to second place in the first eight months of the year, behind Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which recorded net additions of 341.8 MW.
The overall ranking remains unchanged so far in 2026. At around 9,957 MW, Brandenburg remains the eastern German state with the highest installed wind power capacity, despite the comparatively weak first eight months. In the nationwide state ranking, Brandenburg ranks fourth, behind Lower Saxony (15,380 MW), Schleswig-Holstein (10,740 MW), and North Rhine-Westphalia (10,303 MW).
Nordex Share Price Up More Than 35 Percent Year-to-Date
Nordex shares, listed on the renewable energy stock index RENIXX World, traded at EUR 40.04 around 3:18 p.m. on September 17, 2026. That represents a gain of EUR 1.48, or 3.84 percent, compared with the previous day's closing price of EUR 38.56. Compared with the closing price at the turn of the year, the stock is currently up 37 percent.
